User Interface Files
The file ZeusSetup-xxx.exe will install the latest versions of ZeusControl and ZeusTune. The installer will overwrite any previous versions. If you wish to keep an older version of either program, find the executable file and rename it. An example would be to rename ZeusControl.exe to ZeusControl-old.exe or ZeusControl-date.exe. You can find the executable file by right clicking on the desktop icon and selecting properties.
Binary Files – All
All Zeus embedded binary files use the same naming convention. 6.7 files are prefixed with ’67’ and 5.9 files are prefixed with ’59’. Files are named according to month-day-year-hour_minute_second_special note.bin or zbin. For example 67-3-12-12-14_04_42_dual.bin would indicate a 6.7 embedded binary created on March 12, 2012 at 2:04:42 PM. Dual would indicate in this instance that the file is optimized for dual CP3s and the extender ‘.bin’ means that it is for Zeus v2.xx. If the extender would have been ‘.zbin’ it would have shown that the file was for Zeus v3.xx.
Files can be named anything, however we strongly recommend that the above naming scheme be used. The best way to personalize your files is to add something into the existing file name. Using the example above, you might want to change ‘dual’ to something like ‘myfile -2′ or ‘high-rpm-tune’. E.G. ’67-3-12-12-14_04_42_test-1.bin’ or ’67-3-12-12-14_04_42_hard-track-low-rpm-2.bin’.
